Recognition Marathon - February 15

About 170 riders were Cheverny for the traditional recognition of a portion of the trail.

This recognition is not really one, since most of the riders in the region include this appointment, as they do for other races of the department.
As usual, the sun was up, the wind was completely absent, and the participants enjoyed running together.

A big thank you to Gilles Barbanson, butcher at Romorantin, which like last year we provided supplies of high quality.
Gilles will naturally start Cheverny Marathon in preparation for a 100 kms.
Over 900 runners have already registered for April 5 and the helm of the 1,300 runners last year will likely be exceeded.
Another great success, pasta party in the Orangerie du Chateau wins a huge success, and risk display''complete''in mid-March.

Thank you all for your sympathy, and for this nice moment spent with you.
Rendezvous April 5.

The Trail of Glazig

After a journey when snow and hail wanted the tone of the weekend, the team of Marc and Chantal, Cecile, Corine, Philippe, Véronique and Axel Robert and Maureen, moved to Christopher and Ludo booth (we get to that later).

Everyone deals: slices of goat cheese, wines, answering questions from riders (most numerous in late afternoon), discussion lively and happy with these riders and exhibitors.

Philip prepares for his night out 15 km, starting at 19 am under the smoke, music and applause. 1 h 26 later, it happens rather "muddy" but with a smile, even if the journey was not easy!

Pasta quiet and quick to bed for good the next day. First reflex clock: time, which promises cool but no wind or water. Phew! But we know that we will find a heavy pitch.
Before our race, starting impressive 2 cani-trail (9 km): 1 5 + atv dog, the second 80 riders with their dog of any breed.

Philippe and Christophe soar on the 32 km (+ 500) and yes, big surprise last minute, this term is extended by 2 km due to collapse of land following rains thus rerouting. Hard, hard in the head but here we go!

Then comes our turn: Cecile, Corinne, Marc, Ludo and me. Well, we leave alone, there are people (~ 300). Time has not changed, we appreciate.

A little road before taking the paths in the fields and then forests, seashores, meanwhile Robert left for 16 km ! We find great views enhanced with mimosa flowers and even the sun with us and makes us forget our state. Passing on the beach where our guides waiting for us to encourage us.

They are there too! Surprise also below, a passage in water, it's cold toes but we quickly forget.

We climb, descend, slopes, trails in single file, stairs, rope, always in the mud, mud and even climbing to reach the ruins of the castle of Countess Anne! Nice view on a small harbor, where the sun sparkle on the sea calm. ... Magic sequences.
For us, it's something that adventure, but for the teams' dunes of hope "who have a sick child is a strong message ! They are great kids and even encourage us! These incredible efforts to bring them happiness! Sequence emotion ....

We meet Robert, happy. The arrival looming, we hear voices (not like Joan of Arc) but we must make a detour and it's a little hard, Cecilia Huh!
And here we're done.

Ludo is already in the shower, we expect Philip and Christopher, but it's getting cold, the wind rises.
front of a hot meal, a little tired, or comments about this trail is going well. Basically, not easy but nice!
