Black Pants Purple Shirt What Color Shoes

The report is late, but we were lost because of the wolf ... ... ... .... ! ! !
Talk about an adventure!

With Philip and Cecilia, we moved to a stand at the City Clerks for racing Ludo le fou.
In the field around the room, the riders arrive and settle, tents sprout like mushrooms. It's a beautiful day.
calm atmosphere in the room where 4 stands share the questions of the riders. Activities are planned for kids is great (make-up, racing games, ....)

Then comes the hour of departure for the 1st race the maratrail. A big wolf hanging from a crane gesticulating to comment on his ordeal. We are preparing, in our turn to be on the line of 18kms. HOU HOU HOU, we were not afraid of the wolf!

It should be well hidden on Saturday evening when the runners took off directly into the forest, a journey punctuated by hard haystack (first hurdle), a small narrow bridge where you have to go one by one, or else ... plop! placards, puppets, funny little words to pass the test ....
Upon arrival, another surprise awaits us, and more encouragement of the spectators and the voice of Philip which surpasses all noise (I heard it before seeing it!): you must climb over stacks of hay! Well, just take the right call of the foot and it passed, yet one would think that with the miles in the legs, we do not happen, well think again!
I must go and as Cecile and Philip stayed for the evening, I let the hand ...

well deserved shower, I joined Philip to continue to encourage the runners last maratrail arriving very tired at nightfall.
Aperitif and dinner direction head to head (you'll notice the chance) with our MacGyver! Learn a little tense who will have to speak on the podium, I want to write some notes.
22h, the awards began. On this occasion we take the opportunity to provide a common gift (Marathon de Cheverny and Maratrail On the Trail of the Wolf) to all riders who participated in both races.
A beautiful fireworks display to end the evening and hop back to Blois.
Thanks to Ludo and his team for the hospitality we have reserved. Veronica & Cecil

Tower Serra ... last.

July 25, 2009 - 20th and last edition of the Tour de Serra.

It happens to Genod in the Jura. If you ran around the Serra, there is little chance that you know Genod !!!!!
is a village of 60 inhabitants, and there is not even a pub !!!!!
The native son, Yves book idea was to create 20 years ago a race of 13 km on its training course: around the Serra.
The particularity is never flat. It goes ... .. and downs.
For many years the race gathered around 1000 runners. For the last huge success with over 1400 riders at the start, and many dressed.
Corine, Veronique Marc, Philippe and Christian would want to miss anything in the world this year that deserves to be included in the challenge of usability.

We took the opportunity to test and honing our costumes for the Medoc marathon.
We ran all five, without trying to make a perf ... ...
We found our friends from Issy les Moulineaux, the Caldera, Drumettaz and Jarnac.

Congratulations again to Odile and Yves for this achievement and thank you for their hospitality. Thank
Isabel also for its availability. We could have the old school ... .. Valfin the cottage closest departure.
And go to the Medoc marathon on September 12 for the next adventure ... .. on the course of the challenge of usability.

Europe Race / Odysséa - June 21 at Marathon Tours

Impressions

Run: you start to run for various reasons: when they stop smoking, we want to do a little sport to overcome .. .. there are a thousand and one reasons to begin. Once we started we felt a real desire to continue to train. Soon we run for ourselves, by necessity, and this need becomes a game that requires specific training because it sets goals. All are different depending on their personalities and abilities but all are commendable. Small or large projects, this is what leads each rider!!

However, yesterday some ASJistes ran differently: not only to "make time" but for a cause: the fight against breast cancer
Since 2004 the race has become Europe's support of the championships of France 10 km road at the initiative of the Athletics Club of the A3 T who wanted to animate the neighborhood north of Tours. He now joins a charity. The association Odysséa raises funds for the fight against breast cancer. All the fruit for registration is given to the association Odysséa which redistributes the funds to two local associations.
appointment toll of Blois and Tours to start North. We're 9 to participate in the walk and Chantal strafe us the option of the race.

A beautiful sun will accompany us throughout the journey. 1 600 people attend all the races and walking. The pink T-shirts abound. Everybody does not play the game and it's a shame this type of racing because it is still a strong image to see all these people dressed in pink. Mark and Ludo Thierry rave a bit about it.

The route was by cons really nothing special (two loops of 5 km in urban areas), it should be booster internally but there are people and especially on court for a cause.
In my case I am running exchange group: it is nice though still a little support as pace for me. After 6 km, I'm already exploded and give my Mp3 to finish the race. To Each His Own "doping". The music helps me work out, allows me to escape particularly to overtake me when the race becomes difficult. Corine Cecile, Nathalie, Marc, Thierry, Anne, Veronica meanwhile chattering quietly.
It's always a bit disconcerting to run with good!! They seem to walk around while I "pedal." In the meantime I appreciate the gesture and then frankly it will make them a good slagging!

The gesture is in the image of the club! Everyone has a place despite the different levels and this is important. The race is a sport - passion that speaks at the option of shopping trips and solitary or in groups.

We finish together on the finish line is nice to achieve more. A little disappointed to go to 1 h 00'12''good but those 12 seconds are the price of security can be! And yesterday the weather was particularly high, suspended. A note that Ludo still finished the race in 42 minutes and ......

On arrival a small gym workout and then we return happy to have made a trip a little less personal.

We hope the event will raise enough funds to help more women will get through this stage of life and that screening can be done earlier and earlier. This will allow the use of lighter treatments to bear for patients and their families. 8500 euro was raised for this second edition.
Until that pink walkabout will remain a positive moment for all.

Will Tv Prices Drop After Christmas?

Ballon d'Alsace - June 14

The weekend was expected to meet several objectives:
1 - Make a nice time with Beatrice (former president of the ASJ) and Gerard lakeside Champagney.
2 - Find Séverine (former secretary of the SJA).
3 - To discover Alsace Anne.
4 - Running a marathon does not yet contained at my table''hunting''.
The first 3 objectives are OK to 150%.
For the 4th, as in Prague I will have to''redouble''... ...

Departure from La Chaussée Saint-Victor late Friday afternoon in the vehicle Randstad has the advantage of having 5 real seats and a very large trunk.
Yes we have scheduled four days to 5 people!!
Marc and Chantal, Anne, Veronica and I are going for 500 terminals. Towards
23 hours we find a nice little restaurant near the lake ... .. The''boss''
agrees to serve us a late dinner.
We then take place in our rooms to be fit on Saturday morning.

Anne agrees to accompany the convalescent I'm on a jog at 6 'per kilo of 3 times 12 minutes with 2' of Recycling. The pros call it the''split''... ..
Severine Laurent and children to join us for 1:00 p.m. a drink overlooking the lake.
Saturday afternoon, stroll by the lake with swimming for the more adventurous.

Sunday morning we get up early. Séverine and I accompany Anne initially marathon that takes place at 9:00. It will be hot and there are more than 1100 meters in altitude. 235 riders on the start line.

Masevaux I descend to witness the departure of Veronica and Mark who participates 18.3 km along the Doller.
Then head for the Ballon d'Alsace with Chantal to attend the girls pass in the 22nd. We find Mimi and Denis, other supporters of the day. Séverine
passes in great shape after 3 hours of racing followed by Anne in about 8 minutes galley a bit on the descents ... ..

There are Veronica and Mark, who just wrapped their leisurely 18 terminals by finishing in the middle of the pack in 1:39 '.
Veronique first class V2, and therefore cut back more on behalf of the SJA.
Séverine overcomes the 42 km in 4:38 '. Anne arrives at the sprint (the last mile is flat and asphalt) in 4:59 '. The course is nice, but not easier. The regional stage has taken over his favorite field.

My goal for myself, it's 20:00. Appointment with Mimi and Denis with the menu: a calf's head.

Monday morning towards Alsace, the rain is with us ... ..
Passage in different small villages Kaysersberg Eguisheim Riquewihr to finish ... .. Colmar. We are lucky with the weather as we take again the road in pouring rain.
Tuesday morning, a little jogging to relax''hind legs''of those who ran, and the convalescent increases from several minutes to each trip.
In return, a helping hand to maintain the orchard at our hosts to make themselves look good ... ... yes, we'd love to come back!! Back
Blois on Tuesday afternoon with lots of good memories.
Thanks to Bea, Mimi, Gerard and Denis for this amazing weekend. We love you so much that we can come back ... ..
